How enquiries and optional website analytics are handled.
Who we are
Surefni Sustainability is the website of Súrefni kolefnisjöfnun ehf. For questions about your information, contact surefni@surefni.is.
Enquiries
When you contact us, we receive the details you provide: your name, email, optional organisation and telephone number, project information and message. A credit enquiry may also include the purchase details you choose to provide. We use this information to respond to your request and manage the resulting business correspondence.
Newsletter subscriptions
When you subscribe, we store your email address, signup time, source and consent version in our Resend contact list. We use these details to send the news and updates you requested. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter, or contact surefni@surefni.is. We retain subscription details until you unsubscribe or request deletion, and retain the minimum suppression information needed to respect your choice. We also use a first-party preference cookie for up to one year to remember when you close the signup popup or subscribe. It stores only that preference, not your email address, and works across surefni.is and www.surefni.is. You can reopen the form using Subscribe in the footer.
Sending and security
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Its Turnstile service helps protect the enquiry form from automated submissions and may process technical browser and connection information for that purpose. Resend processes enquiry emails for delivery to Surefni. Your email is used as the reply address; form contents are not sent to our analytics service.
Optional website analytics
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics measures pages visited, interactions and engagement time while a page is in focus. It uses cookies and online identifiers to produce website usage reports. Engagement time is an estimate of active attention, not evidence that someone has read the content. Advertising features and session recordings are not part of this website setup.
Your analytics choice
Analytics is not loaded before you accept it. You can reject analytics and continue using the website, including the enquiry form. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to change your choice. We store your preference in your browser so the website can remember it.
Retention and service providers
We retain enquiry correspondence for responding to you, managing our business relationship and meeting applicable record-keeping requirements. The live website’s analytics retention setting and provider arrangements will be confirmed before launch. Cloudflare, Resend and Google operate internationally; their processing and transfer arrangements should be reviewed alongside this notice.
Questions and requests
Contact surefni@surefni.is if you would like to ask about, access or correct information you have provided, or request its deletion. We will assess your request in light of applicable requirements and any records we need to retain.
